EZ Marc

E. Z. Marc would seem to be one of the world's foremost exponents of the tenor guitar. He has been playing one for 45 years, always tuned in fifths as they were designed to be. As he says: “Fifths were good enough for Paganini, so they ought to be good enough for me.” He doesn’t play six string guitars and never did and has been earning the ire and grudging respect of six string guitar players for decades. One of his youtube videos had garnered over 90,000 viewings. He plays Crooner songs, Honkey-tonk, foreign songs and a few instrumentals. He also promotes the value of foreign melody, since, as he reminds us, “the best melodies aren't always written in English”.
